In this role, you will provide comprehensive occupational health services, deliver independent nursing evaluations and interventions, support employees through work-related and personal health concerns, and champion programs that promote employee health and safety. Availability to work nights and weekends is required, with pay incentives provided

Requirements

Current, valid Washington state RN license
2+ years of nursing experience
Current basic cardiac life support (BLS) certification.
Current ACLS Certification
Strong computer skills with experience in Microsoft office or equivalent programs.

Nice To Haves

Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN/ COHN-S) Certification desirable, but not required.

Responsibilities

Performs tasks independently, within legal scope of practice or under provider direction over TM.
Provides high quality occupational health and safety services efficiently. Refers patients to clinic, emergency departments or personal providers as needed.
Accurately triages workplace injuries/illnesses and provides appropriate nursing interventions.
Performs basic physical examinations, relays findings to patients and providers.
Provides safety/health assessments of the worksite and develops/presents abatement plans to management/employees.
Familiar with the work processes and safety/health hazards at each on-site location.
Provides occupational health surveillance testing including, but not limited to, audiometry, vision screening, alcohol/drug screening, venipuncture, blood specimen collection.
Develops and implements health/safety promotion strategies for the individual and group.
