About The Position

The Hospital of Central Connecticut is actively hiring Registered Nurses (RN) for its Med Surg units across multiple hours and shifts. They offer support to their Registered Nurses, allowing them to practice at the top of their license using research, innovation, and evidence-based practices. Opportunities for clinical instruction and additional learning are provided as nurses complete their Nurse Residency. The Hospital of Central Connecticut is an acute-care community teaching hospital offering comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services in general medicine and surgery, as well as a wide variety of specialties. Requirements

  • Current Connecticut RN License required within 90 days of hire
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school
  • BLS certification by the American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

  • One-year recent Acute Care RN experience preferred, however Graduate Nurses are encouraged to apply
