About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team at Crossroads Correctional Center in Cameron, Missouri. The RN will provide comprehensive healthcare services to incarcerated patients, working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor. This role involves collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to assess and respond to the physical, psychological, and social needs of patients within the appropriate scope of practice.
Requirements
- Missouri Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one.
- Associates Degree required.
- Must be actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.
Nice To Haves
- Corrections experience not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
- Work under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.
