Requirements

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Previous one (1) year of Acute Care hospital experience required.
• Ventilator Management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe, high‑quality patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
• Provides direct patient care within scope of practice on the Medical/Surgical Unit
• Oversees and supports patient/family education
• Directs and supervises activities of other nursing personnel
• Maintains established standards of nursing care
• Assumes full responsibility and accountability for assigned patients
• Communicates changes in patient condition to physicians, including cardiac monitoring, diagnostics, and symptoms
• Responds promptly and accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment response
