Requirements

Be a graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education
Have current RN state license with the Board of Nursing in practicing state
Have current BCLS certification
Experience and knowledge of the purpose and use of medications in the treatment of cancer
Maintain continuing education requirements

Nice To Haves

Current or pending Oncology Certification preferred

Responsibilities

Providing professional nursing care for patients following established standards and practices.
Demonstrates knowledge of age specific differences in the patient population including late adolescence, adulthood, middle age and the elderly. This includes physiological and developmental differences unique to each group.
Participates in companywide quality initiatives.
Supports and adheres to the Cancer Care Northwest Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
