About The Position
The UMC TLC2 Cancer Center offers a comprehensive spectrum of care focused on patient-centered treatment and support for patients and their families. Through research-based therapies, our clinic and infusion center provide specialized care for both adult and pediatric patients with hematologic, oncologic, and non-cancerous blood disorders.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
- Valid Texas RN License/Eligible Compact License
- Must maintain a current BLS certification from American Heart Association
- BSN required or must be obtained within 3 years of hire
- Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience.
Responsibilities
- Registered professional nurse who assesses, implements or delegates, plans, and evaluates total nursing care and functions in accordance with established philosophy while providing and directing patient care for a group of patients.
- Relates effectively with other departments for optimal continuity of care.
