About The Position

DaVita is hiring a Dialysis Nurse (RN) at Heart of Marion Dialysis in Marion, Ohio, to care for patients with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease. Dialysis experience is preferred, but DaVita is willing to train the right person. Applicants must have at least 9 months to 1 full year of clinical experience as a licensed RN, post externships. The schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 4:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The clinic has 12 chairs, including one isolation chair, and uses Fresenius machines. Each shift has two RNs and two patient care technicians; one RN covers isolation and one serves as floor float. The role is expected to be 8–10 hours per week until the current RN retires in March. Compensation increases as the nurse completes training levels and takes on additional responsibilities. Paid training may take place at a facility or training clinic other than the assigned home clinic. The RN supervises and provides direct patient care, delivers dialysis therapy according to physician orders, evaluates patient condition and treatment data, communicates concerns and emergencies, and supports patients and families in understanding renal disease and treatment. Nurses are expected to contribute to care planning, monthly progress notes, clinical goal setting, and quality improvement initiatives. DaVita describes its workplace as a community centered on belonging and diversity. The company is an equal opportunity workplace. Employment is contingent on successfully passing a drug screen and background check. The position will be open for a minimum of three days.
