About The Position

Registered Nurse (RN) Full-time Opportunity. This position involves a 12-hour shift from 7pm to 7am and includes a $5000 sign-on bonus. Anchor Hospital, established in 1986, is a 122-bed facility accredited by The Joint Commission, specializing in behavioral health and addictive disease disorders for adolescents, adults, and senior adults. Located in College Park, it serves patients from across the Southeast through its Inpatient, Partial Hospitalization, Outpatient, and Tricare programs. The hospital is committed to excellence in diagnosis, treatment, and education, providing compassionate guidance to patients in crisis. The RN promotes a therapeutic milieu and provides quality patient care, ensuring adequate nursing resources for patients with dual diagnoses, chemical dependency, and/or psychiatric care needs. The role collaborates with Clinical Services and other departments to achieve treatment goals. Duties may include processing patient admissions, treatment plan development, patient assessments, medication administration, and medication education. This position's hours include shift differentials for weekend shifts only (7pm-7am).

Requirements

Current license to practice nursing in GA (or eligible to receive or renew).
Current CPR or BLS certification.
COVID VACCINATION REQUIRED.

Nice To Haves

Preferred one year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting.

Responsibilities

Promotes a therapeutic Milieu and provides quality patient care.
Ensures that nursing resources are adequate to provide optimal patient care to a variety of patients which could include dual diagnosis, chemical dependency, and/or psychiatric care.
Collaborates with Clinical Services and other departments to accomplish the treatment goals of Anchor Hospital.
