About The Position
Centurion is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team at Western Reception, Diagnostic and Correctional Center in Saint Joseph, Missouri. The RN will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients, working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor. They will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to assess and respond to patients' physical, psychological, and social needs.
Requirements
- Missouri Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one required
- Must be actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Associates Degree required
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Nice To Haves
- Corrections experience not required
Responsibilities
- Providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
- Working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor.
- Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.
