About The Position
For over two decades, Riverhills Neuroscience has been a pioneer in delivering exceptional neuroscience care. Our commitment to excellence extends across diagnosis, education, and treatment for those facing nervous system diseases and injuries. This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) at the Norwood Office within the Interventional Pain Management Department. The schedule is Full-Time, Monday through Friday, with no weekends or holidays, from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program and licensed by the State Board of Nursing
- One year of formal training as an Registered Nurse (RN) in a healthcare setting
Nice To Haves
- Progressive leadership experience preferred
- Experience with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
- Strong patient education skills are preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care for patients recovering from various surgical procedures
- Educate patients and their families on post-surgical care instructions and recovery expectations.
- Provide information on potential complications and the importance of follow-up care
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records, documenting assessments, interventions, and patient responses
- Provide accurate and appropriate health information, advice, and education to patients regarding their symptoms, medications, and treatment plans over the phone
