PRN - Registered Psych Nurse

We’re an 86-bed behavioral health hospital in DeSoto, Texas, proudly serving the Dallas–Fort Worth community since 1988. Through inpatient and outpatient programs, we care for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. Our team brings compassion, skill, and teamwork to each person’s care—and we’re looking for people who want their work to make a meaningful impact. As a Registered Nurse at Hickory Trail Hospital, you’ll be an active clinical leader on the unit. This is a hands-on behavioral health role that calls for sound judgment, strong communication, and the ability to adjust when patient needs change. You’ll care for patients experiencing a range of mental health challenges while helping maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment throughout your shift.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required.
- Current license to practice nursing by the Texas State Board of Nursing. (or eligible to receive or renew).
- RN’s may be required to work weekends, overtime and have flexible hours.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
