About The Position

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. The 16-bed unit provides care to critically ill patients with diagnoses including Sepsis, Stroke, Respiratory conditions, chronic Vent, Acute Kidney Injury, Pulmonary Emboli/Deep Vein Thrombosis, Diabetic Ketoacidosis, Substance Abuse along with many other comorbidities. You will master skills in pharmacology, pathophysiology, laboratory value interpretation and in-depth assessments of patients. This is a supportive learning environment with a team approach, patient-centric care to optimize patient outcomes, and opportunities for shared governance and committee work at unit and site levels.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in an nursing
  • At least 1 year of RN experience
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
