Registered Nurse
About The Position
The Registered Nurse provides superior care to assigned residents, including assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation of treatments, as well as participation in quality assurance and performance improvement activities. The role supervises staff and builds relationships with residents, families, and other members of the health care team. The position is PRN at TidePointe, a Vi Community, in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Shifts are 12 hours: days from 7 AM to 7 PM or nights from 7 PM to 7 AM. Compensation is listed as $47.00 per hour plus shift differential where applicable; the posting also lists a pay range of $34.10–$42.62 per hour.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Registered Nurse state licensure in the state where practicing.
- Working knowledge of long-term care.
- Current CPR certification approved by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Current First Aid certification, or willingness and ability to become First Aid certified.
- Maintain a courteous and professional manner in interactions with others.
- Use a resident- and customer-focused approach to problem-solving and goal-setting.
- Basic computer skills and/or willingness to learn.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- At least 6 months of experience working as a Registered Nurse preferred.
- Experience or continuing education in the care of elderly people preferred.
