About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the delivery of nursing care. The professional nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for appropriately delegating patient care to other members of the health care team. This position is based at Lourdes Health System, 1600 Haddon Ave, and is an on-site, full-time day-shift role with 12-hour shifts and 36 total weekly hours.

Requirements

NJ RN License.
Associate’s degree required.
0–1 years of experience required.
Refer to the Educational/Regulatory Requirement (Department Specific) policy in the Nursing Administrative Manual.

Nice To Haves

2–4 years of experience preferred.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Assess patients and develop, implement, and evaluate plans of care.
Administer, monitor, and document therapeutic interventions and regimens.
Participate in clinical decision-making.
Educate patients and their families or responsible parties about disease processes, individual care needs, wellness, and safety issues.
Delegate and monitor care provided by other members of the nursing department and healthcare team.
Participate in the orientation, education, and development of the healthcare team.
Identify and participate in performance-improvement activities.
Maintain professional and departmental competencies.
