About The Position

Nightingale Visiting Nurses is hiring Registered Nurses to provide home health care in Middleboro. The RN provides direct patient care and case management according to physician orders, including patient admissions, care planning, and coordination with the interdisciplinary team. The role offers per-visit compensation starting at $38.00 per visit and full-time, part-time, and per-diem opportunities. The organization describes its work as delivering quality, one-on-one care that helps patients live comfortably and safely at home. Employees may have flexible scheduling, mileage reimbursement, and—if eligible—three weeks of PTO per year. Requirements

Active RN license in Massachusetts.
Current physical exam completed within the last 12 months.
Current TB test completed within the last 12 months.
Current CPR certification.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to attend orientation at the Taunton office.

Nice To Haves

Experience with OASIS and WellSky (Kinnser) is strongly preferred.
Med-surg and wound care experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Obtain medical histories and assess patients’ conditions and needs.
Conduct physical assessments, including vital-sign checks and mobility evaluations.
Educate patients and families about care plans and home health services.
Deliver skilled nursing care while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
Document and submit accurate visit records promptly.
Develop and update individualized care plans as needed.
Coordinate with LPNs, Home Health Aides, and Personal Care Attendants.
Facilitate referrals for additional services, such as therapy or medical social work.
Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing services and adjust care as appropriate.
