About The Position
TK Health is hiring a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at the Adams County Jail in Quincy, Illinois. This role offers the opportunity to be part of establishing a strong healthcare team from the beginning of a new partnership. The position involves providing quality nursing care to patients in a correctional healthcare setting, including assessing and monitoring patient health needs, administering medications and treatments, responding to medical emergencies, maintaining accurate medical documentation, and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current CPR certification
- Strong communication and clinical assessment skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
- Must successfully complete required background and security clearance
Nice To Haves
- Correctional healthcare experience is not required. Nurses from hospital, emergency, long-term care, home health, clinic, and other healthcare backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
