About The Position

This is a Registered Nurse position in the Observation Unit/Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) at Forbes Hospital, part of Allegheny Health Network (AHN). The CDU serves patients who are not medically stable for discharge but do not meet criteria for inpatient care, typically for 24-48 hours before discharge or admission. AHN is a 9-hospital system, part of Highmark Health, focused on transforming healthcare with a commitment to inclusivity, fresh perspectives, and employee growth. Forbes Hospital is a 315-bed, Level II trauma hospital offering a wide range of services.

Requirements

Minimum Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
Current State of PA RN licensure OR Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
