People who aspire to excellence every day. Senate Street Surgery Center is an outpatient surgery center at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. The surgery center has eight fully equipped, technologically sophisticated operating rooms. Our surgery center operates Monday - Friday. No scheduled weekends or holidays! No weekends, no holidays, no call. Requirements

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.

Nice To Haves

• Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
