Registered Nurses (RNs) provide direct patient care in a variety of healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, and community health programs. RNs assess patient health, develop care plans, administer treatments, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care. The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing direct nursing care to the residents. Monitoring vital signs, developing and updating resident care plans for completion of treatment goals, reviewing residents’ charts for physician orders, progress notes and physical complaints, and performing other nursing procedures as directed. Because the Arkansas Health Center is a long-term nursing home facility the Registered Nurses generally work 12 hours shifts and rotating schedules.
