About The Position

NHC Place Cool Springs is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Assisted Living facility. This position offers 12-hour shifts and can be either Full Time or Part Time. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at night, wants to make a difference in residents' lives, build connections with residents and their families, and maintain a healthy work/life balance. The pay is up to $47.00 per hour. Experience in Assisted Living, long-term care, skilled nursing, or long-term care is preferred but not required.

Requirements

Graduated from an accredited nursing program.
Maintain a current unencunbered license to practice in the state where employed.
Seek opportunities for personal and professional growth, attend continuing education offerings, and contribute to the ongoing education of partners through teaching and mentoring partners under his/her supervision.

Nice To Haves

Assisted Living, long term care, skilled nursing and/or long-term care experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Maintaining clinical competency as evidenced by application of integrated nursing knowledge and skills, leadership, and communication skills.
Utilizing the nursing process in assessment, planning and implementing care.
Exhibiting organizational ability related to workflow, prioritizing to meet the patient care needs.
Integrating current standards of practice as well as local, state, and federal regulations related to nursing services in the care of patients.
Practicing continuous quality improvement thinking and problem-solving skills.
Being caring, compassionate, having good communication skills, a positive attitude, and being a team player.
