About The Position
Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse for their Outpatient Infusion Center. This position involves two 9-hour shifts per week (7:30 AM - 4:30 PM) with a weekend rotation every 6-7 weeks and a holiday rotation of one day. The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for performing a competent level of nursing care using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care, teaching, health promotion, and evaluation. The role also encompasses standards of professional performance such as ethics, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice, quality, resource utilization, and environmental health. The RN will assess and admit patients, perform rounding checks, administer medications, communicate with family members, and manage the overall care of patients. Teamwork is emphasized, with a focus on collaboration to ensure optimal patient care. Requirements
- Recent, direct patient care RN experience REQUIRED.
- RN Degree: RN Diploma, ADN, BSN or MSN.
- RN License valid to work in the State of Virginia.
- BLS within 90 days of hire.

- Experience with central lines STRONGLY preferred.
