Requirements

• A diploma/degree from an accredited nursing school.
• A license (RN) to practice in Maryland or the ability to obtain a Maryland license based on the timeframe of the licensing board.
• Healthcare Provider-Level CPR (BLS) certification.
• NRP certification is required.

Nice To Haves

• A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is strongly preferred, or agreement to enroll within six months of employment.
• One to two years of clinical nursing experience is strongly preferred.
• New graduates with focused practicum or technician experience in Women’s and Children’s Services will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform clinical care in a family-centered environment.
• Provide evidence-based, high-quality care to mothers and newborns.
• Provide couplet care and newborn nursery care.
• Serve as a resource for other team members.
