About The Position

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Ministry Float Pool. Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven caregivers looking for an opportunity to apply clinical knowledge to coordinate and perform hands on acute patient care at the bedside. This role offers a $10/hour in-house float differential! The position is part-time, scheduled for nights from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am, at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in O’Fallon, IL. HSHS is a multi-institutional health care system serving communities throughout Illinois and Wisconsin, with 13 hospitals and numerous community-based health centers and clinics. Requirements

  • Illinois: Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) is required.
  • Wisconsin: Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) is required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required

Nice To Haves

  • Diploma or Associates degree in nursing is Required
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing is Preferred
  • 2 year of relevant clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in specialty area is preferred.
  • Certification in area of specialty is preferred but in some cases may be required to float.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and perform hands-on acute patient care at the bedside.
