About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers quality nursing care through interpersonal contact and provides care and services that help patients attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being, in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. The RN evaluates patient needs through ongoing assessment, revises care plans in response to changes in patient condition, and provides clinical supervision to CNAs and LPNs. The position is part of an interdisciplinary team.

Requirements

• Nursing diploma, associate’s degree in nursing, or bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Currently licensed or registered in the applicable state.
• Maintain an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing throughout employment.
• CPR certification upon hire or obtained during orientation; certification must remain current during employment.
• Ability to concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment.

Nice To Haves

• One year of skilled nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care to patients.
• Provide care and services to support patients’ physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
• Evaluate patient needs through ongoing assessment.
• Revise care plans based on changes in a patient’s condition.
• Provide clinical supervision to CNAs and LPNs.
• Implement and interpret department programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude toward patients.
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.

Benefits

• June sign-on bonus: $8,000 for full-time and $4,000 for part-time.
