About The Position

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to provide nursing care and support patients in a healthcare setting. The RN will assess patients, develop and implement appropriate nursing care plans, administer medications and treatments, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals. The position requires strong clinical judgment, organization, flexibility, and the ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Strong clinical assessment and nursing skills.
  • Experience with medication administration and IV therapy.
  • Ability to assess, document, and monitor patient conditions.
  • Knowledge of emergency nursing procedures and equipment.
  • Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain patient history and relevant family history.
  • Assess patient conditions and develop appropriate nursing care plans.
  • Determine nursing priorities and therapeutic objectives.
  • Document patient assessments, care plans, treatments, and outcomes accurately in medical records.
  • Reassess patients and modify nursing care plans based on changing conditions.
  • Administer medications and intravenous (IV) therapies.
  • Monitor and document patient responses to medications and treatments.
  • Review laboratory results and electronic medical records.
  • Communicate pertinent patient information to physicians and nursing leadership.
  • Carry out prescribed physician orders and accurately document care provided.
  • Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
  • Operate EKG machines, cardiac monitors, defibrillators, and other emergency equipment.
  • Recognize and respond appropriately to medical emergencies.
  • Provide patient and family education regarding medications, treatments, and procedures.
  • Assess patient and family understanding and document education provided.
  • Participate in discharge planning.
  • Perform intake and output assessments as required.
  • Provide central line and ventilator care in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
  • Perform skin assessments and implement measures to prevent hospital-acquired pressure injuries.
  • Care for patients with various catheters and prostheses.
  • Assist with surgical and diagnostic procedures as appropriate.
  • Perform scrub and circulating duties in the Emergency Department and Operating Room as required.
  • Provide critical care nursing support to Intensive Care Unit patients as required.
  • Initiate appropriate life-saving measures in emergency situations when necessary.
  • Maintain patient privacy, dignity, and rights at all times.
  • Maintain professional conduct and provide respectful, courteous patient service.
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team.
