About The Position

BAYADA Hospice is looking for compassionate and dedicated Full Time Hospice On Call Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Hospice office, located in Toms River, NJ. This office services hospice clients on a per visit basis in Ocean and Monmouth counties. On call is 5pm-8:30 am Mon-Thur and Fri 5pm - Mon 8:30am. EVERY OTHER WEEK. 26 weeks a year. Requirements

A current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in NJ.
A minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
Ability to travel to cases as assigned.

Nice To Haves

Prior home care and/or hospice experience strongly preferred, but not required.
Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.

Responsibilities

Making home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
Performing assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures and comfort care.
Monitoring clients' conditions; reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager.
Following up with, executing, and properly documenting doctors' orders.
Performing client assessments as necessary.
Occasional on call after hours and/or weekends
