About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) at ProMedica is a crucial part of the patient care team, dedicated to improving health outcomes through patient-centered care, respecting the diversity of human experience. This role involves coordinating a patient's plan of care, interacting with patients, families, and the healthcare team through open communication, mutual respect, and shared decision-making. The RN is responsible for assessing and formulating nursing diagnoses, then planning, implementing, and evaluating the effectiveness of care plans. Collaboration with fellow nurses and support staff is essential to achieve patient care goals. ProMedica RNs also work to enhance patient care, their work environment, and overall patient and staff satisfaction.

Requirements

Current State license as a Registered Nurse
Current CPR training
Specialty certifications as required by individual nursing units
In Ohio, complete twenty-four contact hours of continuing education during his/her licensure period
At least 1 hour of contact hours must be related to Chapter 4723 of the Ohio nurse practice code and rules
