About The Position
Registered Nurse (RN) in an Operating Room (OR) setting in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a 13-week contract accepting local and travel candidates. The schedule is day shift, Monday through Friday, with 8-hour shifts; a combination of 8- and 10-hour shifts may be available. 12-hour shifts are not available. The role requires recent acute-care OR experience across neuro, orthopedics, ENT, general surgery, and ophthalmology/eye procedures. Office-based surgery experience does not qualify. Compensation is listed as $2,274 gross per week, a blended hourly rate of $59.36, and $1,400 weekly taxable pay.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of recent Operating Room (OR) RN experience.
- Previous travel nursing experience.
- Charge nurse experience.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current PALS certification.
- Epic EMR experience.
- Operating Room experience with neuro, orthopedics, ENT, general surgery, and ophthalmology/eye procedures.
- Acute-care Operating Room experience; office-based surgery experience does not qualify.
- Submit an updated resume with relevant OR experience.
- Submit an RN skills checklist matching the Operating Room specialty.
- Include requested time off at the time of submission.
- Flu vaccination is required; declinations are not accepted.
- Nicotine screening is required.
- Drug screening is required.
