Registered Nurse - Operating Room
About The Position
Rebound Surgery Center is seeking a full-time, 40-hours-per-week Operating Room Nurse (RN) to join its perioperative team. The nurse provides direct patient care to surgical patients in an ambulatory surgery setting and is accountable for patient outcomes resulting from nursing care during surgical or invasive procedures. The role uses the nursing process to care for patients of all ages and requires broad general nursing skills, along with position-specific knowledge and skills. The nurse provides care in both scrub and circulating roles and collaborates with the healthcare team to promote evidence-based care within a healing culture for patients and their families.
Requirements
- Washington State RN license registration required.
- American Heart Association-accredited BLS required.
- American Heart Association-accredited ACLS required.
- 1–2 years of surgical circulating experience required.
Nice To Haves
- Associate or Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing preferred, but not required.
- 1–3 years of experience in an Ambulatory Surgery Center desired.
- Scrub experience desired but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in both scrub and circulating roles.
- Use the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate the plan of care for patients served.
- Collaborate with all members of the healthcare team to promote evidence-based care within a healing culture for patients and their families.
- Provide direct care to surgical patients and support safe, efficient operating-room environments.
