RN - Registered Nurse - Full Time Night Shift

The RN is responsible for providing and coordinating high-quality nursing care, monitoring resident conditions, administering treatments and medications, and working collaboratively with physicians, nursing assistants, therapy professionals, residents, and families to support positive clinical outcomes.
Requirements
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current CPR/BLS certification, or ability to obtain as required by the facility.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, organization, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and respectful care to residents.
Nice To Haves
- Previous skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or post-acute care experience.
- Experience supervising or providing clinical direction to nursing assistants and other nursing staff.
- Familiarity with electronic health records and long-term care documentation requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders, resident care plans, and applicable standards of practice.
- Assess residents and monitor for changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and timely.
- Notify physicians and appropriate members of the interdisciplinary team of significant changes in resident condition.
- Provide clinical direction and support to nursing assistants and other assigned nursing personnel.
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary communication.
- Educate and communicate with residents and families regarding care needs.
- Follow infection prevention, safety, regulatory, and facility policies and procedures.
- Promote a positive, respectful, and resident-centered care environment.
