Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care that supports patient safety, comfort, and positive health outcomes.
• Develop and manage individualized care plans, closely monitoring patient progress and adjusting care to meet changing needs.
• Communicate patient updates clearly with physicians and the care team to ensure timely decisions and seamless care delivery.
• Coordinate care across disciplines, bringing together providers, therapists, and support staff to create a smooth and effective patient experience.
• Guide discharge planning, helping patients and families transition safely from hospital to home or the next level of care.
