About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides safe, effective, and compassionate care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. The role includes conducting pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure assessments. The position is PRN and scheduled for 10-hour days.

Requirements

• Graduation certificate from an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program.
• Current Mississippi state licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Completion of a Moderate Sedation course.
• IV certification.
• Proficiency in patient assessment, vital sign monitoring, IV insertions, and administering moderate sedation.
• Strong discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
• Composure in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
• Willingness and ability to learn new technologies.
• Dependability, punctuality, and attention to detail.
• Strong multitasking and independent-work capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Accurate documentation skills.
• Ability to follow established workflows consistently.
• Knowledge of ASC procedures, infection control practices, and emergency response protocols.

Nice To Haves

• One to two years of nursing experience, preferably with prior experience in endoscopy, perioperative, critical care, or procedural areas.
