Registered Nurse, Neuro Stroke Telemetry, Days
About The Position
Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Neuro Stroke Telemetry unit at Highland Park Hospital. This is a full-time position with day shifts (7am-7:30pm) and rotating weekends. The role involves independently providing safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care, utilizing the nursing process, guiding assistive personnel, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and a high-quality patient experience. Requirements
- Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
- Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required
- BLS/CPR Certification for the Healthcare Provider required
Nice To Haves
- BSN strongly preferred
- Prior nursing or if new graduate nurse, CNA experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a patient population on a specific unit
- Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
- Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care
- Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
- Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience
