About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care for residents in a long-term care environment. The successful candidate will work with a team to support geriatric residents, focusing on wound care management and overall well-being, without the need for acute care interventions.
Requirements
- Current RN license in New York State.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a long-term care setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care, including assessments and documentation.
- Implement and monitor the nursing plan of care.
- Provide oversight and support to LPN and CNA colleagues.
- Administer medications in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
- Demonstrate flexibility and strong delegation skills in daily tasks.
