About The Position
Hill Crest Behavioral Health Services is a free-standing psychiatric hospital offering dedicated services to adolescents and adults. With an average census of 150 patients, Hill Crest features acute inpatient, residential, and group home settings. We do not treat medically compromised individuals beyond our scope of care. We currently treat: Acute Adults, Acute Adolescents, Forensic Adult Males, Residential Males and Females. This is a challenging and rewarding work environment.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current status as a Registered Nurse in the State of Alabama.
- One (1) year of experience in psychiatric nursing preferred.
- LPN must have credentials to direct physical management of the patient and have current CPR certification.
- New hires are required to attend 7-days of New Employee Orientation on day shift, normally 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday through Friday + following Mon-Wed.
- Must successfully pass background check (includes criminal history, Child Abuse and Neglect Registry, and ABI/FBI fingerprint check) and drug screen.

- MUST HAVE availability to attend an 8- business day Orientation from 8a-4p without interruptions.
