About The Position
Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center is hiring a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical‑Telemetry unit for night shift coverage in Lafayette, LA. This is a great opportunity for an experienced RNs looking to advance their Med‑Tele career while working in a supportive, patient‑focused environment at a leading hospital in Lafayette, Louisiana.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of Louisiana.
- BLS certification (American Heart Association).
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to thrive on night shift.
Nice To Haves
- Registered Nurse with Med‑Tele, acute care, or hospital experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care using the Nursing Process as an RN.
- Monitor cardiac telemetry and medical conditions on the Med‑Tele unit.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care teams as a Registered Nurse.
- Administer medications, perform assessments, and document care accurately.
- Promote patient safety, quality outcomes, and exceptional service during overnight hours.
