About The Position

Butler Hospital is hosting an RN Hiring Event on Friday, September 18th, from 9:30 am to 11:30 am in Ray Hall. Hiring Managers will be on-site to conduct interviews and answer questions for Registered Nurses for all shifts (8-hour shifts with a set 2-week schedule rotation). Positions are available for both Part-Time and Full-Time employment. Butler Hospital, founded in 1844, is the state's only non-profit, free-standing psychiatric hospital serving adults, seniors, and adolescents with specialized assessment and treatment for psychiatric illnesses and substance abuse. It is a major affiliated teaching hospital for psychiatry and behavioral health for The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and a leading training site for the Brown University General Residency in Psychiatry. Many physicians and psychologists at Butler are also part of the Brown Institute for Brain Science, participating in clinical research. Butler Hospital is part of the Care New England Health System, which employs approximately 1000 full-time and part-time staff, supported by over 75 volunteers.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current RI nursing license.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care for adults, seniors, and adolescents with specialized assessment and treatment for all major psychiatric illnesses and substance abuse.
Work all shifts (8 hours) with a set 2-week schedule rotation.
