About The Position

Bristol Glen, a United Methodist Communities retirement community in Newton, New Jersey, is hiring a Registered Nurse for its long-term care unit. The RN will care for residents, many of whom live in the community for years, and work with residents’ families, physicians, and the care team. The role is offered part-time for day, evening, or overnight shifts, with weekend and holiday rotation. Pay is $40.33–$50.33 per hour based on experience, with shift differentials. Applicants must hold an active New Jersey or multistate compact RN license and pass a drug screen and background check. Long-term care or sub-acute rehabilitation experience is preferred.

Requirements

• Active New Jersey RN license or multistate (compact) RN license.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Flu vaccination; medical and religious exemptions are available.

Responsibilities

• Assess and track each resident’s health during the shift.
• Administer medications and treatments and document them on time.
• Handle admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Provide hands-on care according to each resident’s care plan.
• Help build and update care plans with the care team.
• Keep families and physicians informed about changes.
