Procedures may include IVs, dressing changes, and others. The nurse will facilitate patient flow, advocate for patients as needed, and provide patient education. This position involves organizing patient health information and updating electronic health records, as well as maintaining emergency equipment and other resources needed to provide safe, high-quality patient care. Additionally, the role includes management of the pharmacy refill program for patients. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
Registered Nurse (RN) current license in the state of Minnesota required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) required with exception: inability to complete certification process related to a health condition. Employee must complete education portion of the BLS within 6 months of hire.
Ability to work well with team members and act as a leader for the nursing department clinical staff.
Good communication, computer, documentation, and time management skills.
Nursing RN assessment skills as well as procedural skills within scope of practice.
