About The Position
PruittHealth @ Home is hiring a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for home health admissions. The role offers autonomy, flexible scheduling, clinical support, and one-on-one patient care. Applicants who live in or can commute to Durham or Wake County, North Carolina, receive special consideration. The RN provides skilled nursing visits in patients’ homes, completes assessments and start-of-care visits, develops care plans, and works with an interdisciplinary care team. The nurse also supervises LPNs and Home Health Aides, documents care using an iPad with AI assist, educates patients and families, and supports continuity, quality, and safety of care. OASIS experience is a plus.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- CPR certification.
- At least 1 year of RN experience.
Nice To Haves
- Home health or acute care experience is preferred.
- OASIS experience.
- Experience with aging or adult patient populations.
- Strong organization and time-management skills, including the ability to multitask and prioritize a busy caseload.
- Confidence using technology and electronic documentation systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing visits in patients’ homes.
