About The Position

Private Medical is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team in Menlo Park. This role involves practicing adult primary care nursing in a non-hospital, relationship-focused environment where success is measured by the quality of care and high level of service, rather than volume or time constraints. The RN will have the opportunity to invest in deep patient relationships and work closely with physicians, fellow nurses, and other team members. A great client service attitude, being gracious, personable, and accommodating, is essential.

Requirements

  • Active California RN license
  • Minimum of three (3) years as an RN in a hospital or outpatient clinic
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Excellent communication and written skills
  • Ability to harness independence and autonomy, as well as work seamlessly as part of a team
  • Flexibility and willingness to occasionally work after hours or on weekends, if necessary
  • Positive and proactive attitude
  • Sound clinical and personal judgment and professional demeanor
  • Proven leader with track record of providing extraordinary patient care and customer service
  • Advanced computer literacy, primarily with Apple products

Responsibilities

  • Provide world class, comprehensive, customized nursing care to patients, including seeing patients in the office for appointments and performing house calls as needed.
  • Work closely with teams of doctors and patient care coordinators to ensure optimal patient health and satisfaction outcomes.
  • Prepare for and execute all-inclusive visits to patients’ homes and offices.
  • Perform blood draws, IV therapies, therapeutic phlebotomy, and routine and travel vaccinations.
  • Correspond directly with patients on a routine basis, fostering a relationship of trust and reliability.
  • Coordinate prescriptions and refills with pharmacies worldwide.
  • Document all therapies, procedures, medications, and clinically relevant patient interactions into the electronic medical record.
