Registered Nurse
About The Position
DaVita is seeking an organized, self-directed Registered Nurse to manage peritoneal dialysis (PD) patients. The role combines clinical care, patient education, and case management. The nurse educates patients and caregivers in the clinic so they can perform dialysis independently at home, and supports safe, high-quality outcomes through patient monitoring and interdisciplinary collaboration. The schedule is Monday through Friday in 8-hour shifts, with weekends and holidays off. Scheduling is flexible to allow the nurse to manage their own caseload. The role is based at 23 Warren Ave, Woburn, Massachusetts, and includes home visits and on-call support. The listed wage range is $47.00–$65.00 per hour. Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
- Basic computer skills, including MS Word and Outlook.
- At least 1 year of RN experience.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Experience with dialysis, including PD, HHD, chronic, or acute dialysis.
- Patient education or teaching experience.
- Case management or telehealth experience.
- CNN or CDN certification.
Responsibilities
- Train patients and caregivers on peritoneal dialysis procedures and self-care.
- Manage a caseload of peritoneal dialysis patients, including conducting assessments and developing care plans.
- Monitor treatment progress, conduct home visits, and provide on-call support.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes.
