About The Position
This is a full-time Registered Nurse position working days, with 3 - 12-hour shifts. The role involves demonstrating the ability to assess and evaluate patient and family data, including diagnoses, problem lists, diagnostic test results, clinical information, and responses to medical and nursing care. The nurse will recognize and report changes in patient condition, maintain a patient/family focus in care delivery according to standards, and ensure delegated nursing care aligns with treatment plans and practice acts.
Requirements
- Associate's degree from an accredited two-year college or university, or diploma in nursing.
- Possession of valid state license as Registered Nurse in state of Kansas.
- Current BCLS and ACLS required or must be able to obtain within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities
- Systematic and ongoing assessment based on patient/family diagnoses/problem list.
- Assessment of diagnostic tests results and other clinical information.
- Assessment of response to medical and/or nursing care/treatment.
- Assessment of behavioral responses.
- Assessment of developmental needs.
- Assessment of cultural responses/needs.
- Assessment of educational needs.
- Recognizes and reports changes in patient condition.
- Demonstrates patient/family focus in the provision of care, adhering to standards.
- Ensures delegated nursing care for patients/families is provided according to plans developed by treatment team and within the confines of the applicable practice acts.
