About The Position
St. George Endoscopy is searching for an experienced Registered Nurse to work Full-Time (4 days) on a Monday-Friday schedule. This fast-paced endoscopy center is looking for a self-motivated, team-oriented nurse to complement its hardworking, dedicated staff. The ideal candidate will work cooperatively with staff, physicians, and patients and be able to perform a variety of tasks.
Requirements
- Demonstrate proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge, and skills
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current state license to practice as a registered nurse
- Maintain ACLS certification
- Must pass a background check
- Must pass a drug screen
Responsibilities
- Preparing patients for procedures
- Assisting physicians during procedures
- Providing care for patients in recovery
- Actively participate in all Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement activities
- Assume other responsibilities that contribute to the effective running of the center
