About The Position

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to provide compassionate direct patient care to all of our populations. If you are passionate about providing your patients with exemplary care, while being sensitive to their individual psychiatric conditions, you would be a great fit on our team. Our centrally located Chicago office is nestled in the vibrant neighborhood of North Center, not to mention the social events hosted on our fully furnished rooftop!

Requirements

• Hold a ASN degree, BSN degree (preferred) or LPN
• Are a Registered Nurse with current licensure to practice in Illinois
• Are certified in Healthcare Provider CPR
• Possess excellent therapeutic communication skills

Nice To Haves

• BSN degree
• Have a minimum of 1 year of Hospital Experience
• Have experience in mental health

Responsibilities

• Medication administration
• Nursing Assessments
• Measuring & recording vitals
• Phone triage
• Performing basic materials management functions to include ordering and stocking of supplies
• Maintaining medication inventory
• Recording patient history and medical findings
• Assisting providers with writing laboratory orders and retrieving results
• Assisting with the completion of medical documentation for patients and their families
• Coordinating with insurance companies for medication and diagnostic prior authorizations
• Assisting providers with prescription refills
• Specimen collection
• Provide support & assistance to the organization’s committees
• Provide support and assistance during crisis or emergency situations
