RN, Registered Nurse | Surgery/Operating Room
About The Position
Emplify Health by Gundersen has an opening in the Operating Room. As a Level 2 Trauma Center, the Surgery Department is a fast-paced unit with 18 state-of-the-art operating rooms and 2 labor and delivery suites with cutting-edge surgical equipment. We provide a wide range of surgical procedures, including robotic-assisted and minimally invasive surgeries to populations ranging from neonates to adults. The multidisciplinary team includes RNs, surgeons, anesthesia staff, and surgical technologists. As a nurse, you will play a direct role in providing LOVE + MEDICINE for a broad range of patients in the Operating Room. Registered Nurses in the OR circulate and may scrub for surgeries while caring for patient’s one-on-one being their advocate and anticipating their needs during the surgery.
Requirements
- Minimum of an associate degree in nursing
- An active RN license to work in Wisconsin
- Current BLS for Health Care Providers
Nice To Haves
- Prior RN experience is strongly preferred
