About The Position

Provides professional nursing care while practicing legal nursing responsibilities as indicated by the Nurse Practice Act. The position is in the Critical Care department and works three 12-hour shifts per week, rotating between days and nights, including every other weekend and holidays.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing.
• Current Pennsylvania licensure and other state licensure as required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
• Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.
• One year of recent experience in Critical Care, Cath Lab, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, or Emergency Department; or two years of telemetry nursing experience. Three years of Medical Surgical Nursing experience will also be considered.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science degree in nursing.
• Two years of acute care nursing experience or one year of Critical Care nursing experience.
• Certification in the specialty area.
