About The Position

Harborview Medical Center’s (HMC) 4WH - Trauma/Rehab Medicine unit has an outstanding opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN). The 4WH Inpatient Trauma Rehabilitation unit provides care 24 hours a day to rehabilitation inpatients with therapy provided 3-6 hours per day, 6 days per week. Inpatient rehabilitation is provided for stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and disease, multiple trauma, and burns. In addition to rehabilitation patients, the unit has 4 medical-surgical beds for acute care patients who are potential rehabilitation candidates but not yet ready for rehabilitation and for the post-operative stay of sacral flap patients.

Requirements

  • Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Washington.
  • BSN (or higher degree) is required for a $1.00/hour premium.
  • Specialty certifications are eligible for a $1.25/hour premium.
  • Must disclose if subject to any substantiated findings or current investigations related to sexual misconduct at current or past employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a high acuity environment.
  • Experience with stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, multiple trauma, or burns rehabilitation.
