About The Position

Sentara Leigh in Norfolk, VA is hiring a Registered Nurse to work in the Cardiac Cath, Vascular, and IR Lab Pre/Post department (CVIS). The Pre/Post Registered Nurse will care for pre and post invasive cardiac cath lab patients, invasive vascular lab patients, and interventional radiology patients. In addition, the pre/post RN will rotate through the invasive labs where they will provide moderate sedation and support the circulation role during procedures, and the CT/US suite to provide moderate sedation for CT/US guided IR procedures. This position's primary duties include assessing/admitting patients, rounding checks, giving medications, talking with family members, and being responsible for the overall care of your patients. Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in Cath Holding, Cath Lab, Vascular, IR or Endoscopy labs, ICU or ED
Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

Care for pre and post invasive cardiac cath lab patients
Care for invasive vascular lab patients
Care for interventional radiology patients
Rotate through the invasive labs where they will provide moderate sedation and support the circulation role during procedures
Rotate through the CT/US suite to provide moderate sedation for CT/US guided IR procedures
Assessing/admitting patients
Rounding checks
Giving medications
Talking with family members
Being responsible for the overall care of your patients
