About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Outpatient Oncology Clinic, Infusion provides and coordinates comprehensive patient care through the nursing process. The RN delivers safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures, using evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and communication skills. The position helps create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

The role is based at Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic - Kenosha in Kenosha, Wisconsin, where oncology specialists provide care for all stages of cancer, along with support services, access to clinical trials, and specialty oncology care. The clinic is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. This is a 32-hour-per-week schedule consisting of four 8-hour days, with one day off each week. Start times alternate weekly between 7:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. No weekends or holidays are scheduled.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience in acute care.
• Interest in oncology.
